Step Aside Beauty Queens!
It's time for the gentlemen to take the spotlight! The inaugural Mr. North Idaho isn't your average pageant. It's dinner with a playful, high-energy showdown where dashing do-gooders strut, charm, and compete in a series of lighthearted categories – all to raise money for their favorite local causes.
After dinner, expect runway walks, outrageous talents, audience voting, and plenty of surprises as our contestants show off not just their looks, but their hearts.

Why Participate
Part nonprofit showcase, part playful pageant, we're rallying community volunteerism and fundraising for the contestant's various causes and the host organization, One More Time Northwest: granting cherished wishes for adults with life-limiting conditions. Your ticket helps make a direct impact in our community -- while you enjoy a night of unforgettable entertainment.
One More Time NW fosters joy, dignity, and connection. We profoundly strengthen the bonds of compassion across our region by reducing isolation, strengthening family connections and building measurable community support.

How the Crown is Won
Contestants will take the stage in four lighthearted (PG) rounds:
1. Style & Swagger
The opening walk, because first impressions matter. Contestants strut the runway in whatever makes them feel most confident—think cowboy hats, thrift-store tuxedos, or a borrowed crown. It’s all about attitude, not Armani.
2. Talent (with a twist)
Contestants share their “talent,” which could be a round of dad jokes, juggling potatoes, or reading a heartfelt “poem” that turns out to be the Pledge of Allegiance... The quirkier, the better.
3. Athletic/Swimwear
Our lighthearted nod to traditional pageants. Contestants might show off gym shorts with tube socks, Hawaiian shirts, superhero capes, or even a snorkel. Comedy is the only requirement.
4. Q&A + Curveball
Where contestants charm the audience with personality, wit, and honesty. Share a 2-3 minute message about the nonprofit they’re representing plus a silly personal question ranging from “What’s your go-to karaoke song?” to “How would you solve the problem of soggy fries?” This is where personality shines brighter than polish.
It’s fun, it’s fabulous, and it shines a positive spotlight on local nonprofits while rallying community support. We’d love to see all nonprofits join the fun. All the nominee needs is a sense of humor, a generous spirit, and a willingness to step into the spotlight for a great cause. Nominate your legend today and let him compete for your cause!
